OUR LEADERSHIP
About The Refuge Community
The Refuge Community is a faith-inspired, volunteer-driven nonprofit in Redding, California, dedicated to uplifting our unhoused and vulnerable neighbors. We create spaces of belonging through simple yet powerful outreach programs — from free laundry days and community music to recovery and healing.
Rooted in compassion, connection, and dignity, we believe every person deserves to be known, loved, and supported. What began as a small act of kindness has grown into a movement of hope that brings people together across Shasta County.
Mission: To restore dignity, build community, and inspire purpose through love in action.
